of <h1>Commerce Ministry Reaffirms 66 Authorized Services for SEZs Post-GST Act, Including Banking and Legal Consultancy Services.</h1> The Ministry of Commerce & Industry issued a circular to Development Commissioners of Special Economic Zones (SEZs) regarding a uniform list of 66 authorized services for SEZs. This list, initially communicated in 2013 and revised in subsequent years, is reaffirmed following the implementation of the GST Act, which affected some state governments' IGST exemptions for these services. The Board of Approval (BoA) confirmed the continuation of these default authorized services during its 80th meeting. The list includes services such as airport authority services, banking, legal consultancy, and transport services, among others.
