The amendment to the Levy of Fees (Customs Documents) Regulations, 1970, introduces a fee of Rs. 1000 for various amendments to customs documents, such as import/export manifests, shipping bills, port clearance applications, and cancellations. Certified copies of certain customs documents are available for Rs. 100. Amendments to a prior Bill of Entry filed under specific conditions are free, while others incur a Rs. 100 fee. Stakeholders are advised to contact the Assistant Commissioner for any difficulties.
