To address this, certain goods' samples will be forwarded directly to designated external laboratories until the Revenue Laboratories are upgraded. Customs formations must adhere to standard sampling techniques and coordinate with the concerned laboratories. Importers can opt to warehouse goods if testing exceeds three days, and they are responsible for testing fees. Exceptions to this procedure include samples drawn by Partner Government Agencies and specific protocols for textiles, plants, and livestock. Difficulties should be reported to the relevant office.
