of <h1>Lokpriya Gopinath Bordoloi Airport in Guwahati launches ICES 1.5 for electronic import/export processing, per Facility No. 02/2017.</h1> The Indian Customs EDI System (ICES 1.5) has been launched for handling imports and exports at Lokpriya Gopinath Bordoloi International Airport in Guwahati. This follows the successful preproduction testing of the site, which is linked to ICD Amingaon. The transition from manual to electronic document processing will now occur, as outlined in Facility No. 02/2017. All relevant export and import documents will be processed through ICES, as per the latest Facility issued by the Commissioner of Customs for the North Eastern Region.
