of <h1>Customs Office Open July 1-2 for Smooth GST Transition; Support for Importers, Exporters, and Trade Members.</h1> The Commissioner of Customs has issued a public notice regarding the implementation of the Goods and Services Tax (GST) starting on July 1, 2017. To ensure a smooth transition, the customs office will remain open on July 1 and July 2, 2017. This measure is intended to assist importers, exporters, customs brokers, and other trade members. All officers and staff will be present at their workplaces to support the trade and industry during this period.
