of <h1>Exporters Must Submit BRCs for Drawback EDI Shipping Bills by June 30, 2017, to Avoid ICES 1.5 Alerts.</h1> Exporters are reminded to submit Bank Realization Certificates (BRCs) or Negative Statements for Drawback EDI Shipping Bills as proof of export proceeds realization. Despite previous notices, many have not complied for shipments from January 1, 2004, to March 31, 2014. The list of non-compliant Shipping Bills is available online. Exporters must submit the required documents by June 30, 2017, or face alerts in the ICES 1.5 system starting July 1, 2017, with further actions under the Customs Act, 1962. Immediate alerts are placed for undelivered notices to defaulting exporters.
