of <h1>Mumbai Customs Waives Amendment Fees for Late Bill of Entry Filing Due to GST Issues, July 6-22, 2017.</h1> The Customs Office at the Air Cargo Complex in Mumbai has issued Facility Notice No. 13/2017, exempting amendment fees and charges for late filing of the Bill of Entry due to difficulties following the implementation of GST from July 1, 2017. This exemption applies to consignments with entry inward dates from July 6 to July 22, 2017. Customs Brokers or importers must provide evidence of attempts to file through ICEGATE without receiving acknowledgment. Waivers will be evaluated by respective Deputy or Assistant Commissioners on a case-by-case basis. Any issues should be reported promptly to the Joint Commissioner of Customs.
