of <h1>Mumbai Customs Waives Late Fees for Bill of Entry Delays Due to ICES System Issues Post-GST Implementation.</h1> The circular issued by the Office of the Principal Commissioner of Customs (Import) at the Air Cargo Complex in Mumbai addresses the exemption from amendment fees and charges for late filing of the Bill of Entry due to issues with the ICES system following the implementation of GST on July 1, 2017. For shipments with entry inward dates from July 1 to July 5, 2017, no late presentation charges will be applied if evidence of filing attempts is provided. Cases of waiver will be assessed individually. Advanced Bills of Entry filed before July 1, 2017, may require cancellation and refiling, with late fees waived upon verification.
