of <h1>SEBI Updates Reporting Rules: FIIs Must Submit Monthly Offshore Derivative Reports Starting April 2004.</h1> The circular issued by SEBI mandates registered Foreign Institutional Investors (FIIs) to change the frequency of reporting offshore derivative instruments from fortnightly to monthly, starting April 2004. Reports must be submitted by the 7th of the following month. FIIs with no outstanding offshore derivatives are no longer required to submit quarterly 'Nil' reports. The reporting format has been updated to include a new column for the regulator's name and jurisdiction overseeing the offshore derivatives holder. These changes are effective immediately and reports should be submitted via email. The circular is issued under SEBI regulations and available on their website.
