of <h1>Customs Department Launches Online Rotation Number Generation for Shipping Lines via ICEGATE for Easier Access and Tracking.</h1> The Customs Department has introduced an online facility for the generation of Rotation Numbers by Shipping Lines and Agents through ICEGATE. Previously, obtaining a Rotation Number required filing an application with the Custom House. Now, registered Shipping Lines or Agents can self-generate these numbers online by providing specific details such as Customs Location Code, IMO Code, and expected arrival date. This new system simplifies the process and allows users to check the status of their Rotation Number. Any issues encountered with this new system should be reported to the Customs office.
