of <h1>Exporters with Self-Sealing Permissions Must Register in ICES for Visakhapatnam Port per Circular No. 44/2017.</h1> Exporters with self-sealing permissions and Authorized Economic Operators (AEOs) intending to export through Visakhapatnam port must register as self-sealing exporters in the Indian Customs EDI System (ICES). They are required to submit their self-sealing permissions or AEO certificates to the Superintendent of Customs at the Visakhapatnam Custom House for registration. Any issues encountered during this process should be reported to the Nodal Officer, Appraiser (Docks), Visakhapatnam. This directive follows Board's Circular No. 44/2017, which mandates electronic sealing for containers under the self-sealing procedure.
