of <h1>Airlines at NSCBI Airport Must Send Passenger Manifests to Customs Electronically Per Notification 107/2016-Customs.</h1> The circular addresses the implementation of Notification No. 107/2016-Customs, requiring airlines at NSCBI Airport, Kolkata, to electronically transmit passenger manifests to Indian Customs. Carriers must send a pre-check-in passenger manifest 12 hours before flight departure and a final manifest 15 minutes before takeoff. Effective from May 15, 2017, these transmissions must use a specified flat file format. Airlines are expected to update their systems to accommodate these requirements by November 2017. Any implementation issues should be reported to the Commissioner of Customs at NSCBI Airport, Kolkata.
