of <h1>SWIFT System Expands to All Customs EDI Locations for Export Clearance of Wildlife Items, Effective July 31, 2017.</h1> The Single Window Interface for Facilitation of Trade (SWIFT) in exports is being extended to include all Customs Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) locations, effective July 31, 2017. Initially piloted at Chennai, Mumbai, and Delhi Air Cargo Complexes, SWIFT facilitates online clearance for CITES/wildlife items by referring Shipping Bills to the Wildlife Crime Control Bureau (WCCB) for necessary No Objection Certificates. The mapping of Customs EDI locations to WCCB offices will remain consistent with import procedures. Any issues encountered should be reported to the Principal Commissioner at the Custom House in Kandla.
