of <h1>Customs Office Kandla: No More Signatures on Duplicate/Triplicate Bills of Entry Post Out-Of-Charge Process.</h1> The Customs Office in Kandla issued a notice informing importers, exporters, and customs house agents that the duplicate and triplicate bills of entry generated through the Customs EDI System after the Out-Of-Charge process do not require signatures from Customs officials. These print-outs are computer-generated, and banks or other entities requesting signed copies for foreign exchange remittance or CENVAT purposes should be informed of this change. Henceforth, Customs officers will not sign these documents. This decision has been approved by the Principal Commissioner of Customs House Kandla.
