<h1>New Duty Drawback Rates Announced for Rice, Carpets, Yarns, and Steel; Effective November 23, 2015.</h1> Amendments effective from February 11, 2016, to the All Industry Rates of Duty Drawback have been announced. These changes, effective from November 23, 2015, include providing drawback rates for rice packed in PP/HDPE bags and creating separate tariff entries for various products such as 'hair-on' carpets, cotton blended yarns, and stainless steel products. Additionally, descriptions of certain tariff items are being amended, and drawback rates or caps are being increased for specific items like fishing nets, sports nets, leather footwear, and certain fabrics. Any difficulties in implementing these changes should be reported to the Principal Commissioner of Customs, Kandla.
