of <h1>Customs Expands SWIFT to All EDI Locations for Export; Online NOC Required for CITES/Wildlife Items via WCCB.</h1> The circular from the Office of the Principal Commissioner of Customs in Ahmedabad announces the extension of the Single Window Interface for Trade (SWIFT) in exports to all Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) locations. This extension, effective from July 31, 2017, involves the online referral of shipping bills to the Wild Life Crime Control Bureau (WCCB) for obtaining a 'No Objection Certificate' for CITES/wildlife items. This process was previously piloted at select air cargo complexes. The mapping of Customs EDI locations to WCCB offices will remain consistent with the import procedures, and roles are defined in the SW NOC module.
