of <h1>India Issues Guidelines for Rewarding Informers and Officials on Revenue Recovery Under Circular No. 20/2015.</h1> The Government of India, Ministry of Finance, Department of Revenue, through the Central Board of Excise & Customs, has issued guidelines under Circular No. 20/2015 for rewarding informers and government servants who provide information leading to the recovery of revenue arrears. The reward scheme applies to those who offer details about the whereabouts and assets of individuals or entities under the Customs Act, 1962, Central Excise Act, 1944, and relevant sections of the Finance Act, 1994. The notice requests all trade, dealers, service providers, and officers to disseminate this information to their members and the public.
