of <h1>Mangalore Customs Launches Export Promotion Cells; Takes Over Customs Work from Central Excise/GST in Karnataka Districts.</h1> The Mangalore Customs Commissionerate has established Export Promotion Cells to handle customs work previously managed by Central Excise/GST Officers. This change, effective immediately, covers various districts in Karnataka, including Bellary, Bijapur, Kalburgi, Belgaum, and Mangaluru, among others. Each cell is headed by a designated officer responsible for customs-related tasks within their jurisdiction. The cells will assume control of all relevant customs files from the GST Commissionerate. The trade community is advised to engage with these new cells for customs services, and any issues should be reported to the Commissioner of Customs, Mangalore.
