<h1>India Revises Duty Drawback Rates: Increases for Marine Products, Leather Goods; Reductions for Certain Chemicals Effective Jan 25, 2018.</h1> The Government of India has issued amendments to the All Industry Rates of Duty Drawback effective from January 25, 2018, following various representations and data analysis related to previous implementations. Key changes include increased drawback rates for certain marine products, rubber articles, leather goods, wool fabrics, glass handicrafts, bicycles, and fishing/sports nets. Conversely, drawback rates for specific chemicals have been reduced. Additionally, Polypropylene Mats have been reclassified under a different tariff item with the existing rate. Any implementation issues should be reported to the Assistant/Deputy Commissioner of Drawback.
