This extension, requested by Gangavaram Port Limited, is for the unloading of imported goods and loading of export goods. The area is defined by boundaries: east by the Bay of Bengal, west by vacant land towards BC Road, south by Vizag Steel Plant Area, and north by road and vacant land towards Gangavaram Village. This change is formalized under the Customs Act, 1962.
