of <h1>Electronic Sealing with RFID for Customs Bonded Warehouses Extended to January 1, 2019; Extra Prep Time Granted.</h1> The Principal Commissioner of Customs in Visakhapatnam issued a public notice regarding the implementation of electronic sealing using RFID seals for the deposit and removal of goods from Customs Bonded Warehouses. Initially set to begin on November 1, 2018, as per a previous notice, the implementation date has been extended to January 1, 2019. This extension allows warehouse owners additional time to establish the necessary infrastructure and procure the required seals, as outlined in a subsequent circular.
