of <h1>Mandatory RFID Sealing for Customs Bonded Warehouses Delayed to November 1, 2018, per Circular No. 34/2018.</h1> The Customs authority in Visakhapatnam issued a public notice regarding the implementation of electronic sealing using RFID seals for goods deposited in and removed from Customs Bonded Warehouses. Initially set for August 1, 2018, the mandatory implementation date has been postponed to November 1, 2018, following requests from stakeholders for more time to establish necessary infrastructure and procure the seals. This extension is detailed in Circular No. 34/2018 dated September 28, 2018. The notice addresses importers, exporters, warehouse licensees, and customs brokers.
