of <h1>Jawaharlal Nehru Custom House Postpones Paperless Processing Pilot to June 15, 2018; Feedback Sought for Smooth Implementation.</h1> The circular from the Office of the Commissioner of Customs at Jawaharlal Nehru Custom House addresses the pilot implementation of paperless processing under SWIFT for uploading supporting documents, initially set to begin on June 1, 2018, now postponed to June 15, 2018. The delay is due to concerns about increased dwell time when recalling Bills of Entry for amendments. A proposal is being developed to link the Image Reference Number (IRN) without recalling the Bill of Entry. Until the new mechanism is in place, specific procedures for DPD importers and others are outlined, and feedback is solicited for smooth implementation.
