This initiative aims to reduce physical interactions and expedite cargo clearance by requiring digitally signed documents to be uploaded. Customs brokers and self-filers are encouraged to regularly use e-SANCHIT. Separate counters will handle mandatory document verifications, but documents must still be uploaded before clearance.
