Central Govt establishes 'Brand Rate Cell' at ICD Mulund for Brand Rate fixation under 2017 Customs Drawback Rules.
The Central Government has established a 'Brand Rate Cell' at ICD Mulund to manage the fixation of Brand Rate of Drawback under the Customs, Central Excise Duties & Service Tax Drawback Rules, 2017, in the GST context. These rules, effective from October 1, 2017, replace the 1995 rules. Applications pending before July 1, 2017, will be transferred to the relevant Customs Commissionerate.
