of <h1>E-SANCHIT System Mandatory for Customs Documentation in Bengaluru Starting April 1, 2018: Upload Documents Electronically with IRN.</h1> The Commissioner of Customs in Bengaluru has announced that the mandatory implementation of the e-SANCHIT system will commence on April 1, 2018. This system requires Customs Brokers, Exporters, Importers, and other stakeholders to upload supporting documents electronically with IRN numbers before filing a bill of entry. This follows previous circulars and instructions regarding its pilot phase and extension to all EDI locations. Stakeholders are advised that failure to comply will result in the inability to file a bill of entry. Any implementation challenges should be reported to the office.
