of <h1>Outdated NOCs for Pesticide Imports Invalid; New Permits Needed per Insecticide Act, 1968.</h1> The notice addresses issues with outdated No Objection Certificates (NOCs) for importing insecticides and pesticides under the Insecticide Act, 1968. The Central Insecticide Board & Registration Committee (CIB&RC) identified discrepancies in old NOCs, such as lack of validity dates, unspecified import sources, and inclusion of unregistered or banned pesticides. Consequently, imports based on such NOCs are prohibited, except for consignments in transit or with a Bill of Lading dated on or before January 22, 2018. Importers must now obtain new registration or import permits with specified validity and source details to comply with customs regulations.
