of <h1>RBI Announces Online Availability of GR Forms for Exporters Under FEMA Regulations; Phasing Out Physical Forms in 1 Year.</h1> The circular issued by the Reserve Bank of India (RBI) informs Category-I Authorised Dealer Banks about the online availability of GR Forms for exporters, as per the Foreign Exchange Management (Export of Goods and Services) Regulations, 2000. Exporters can now download these forms from the RBI website, using legal size paper for printing. The GR number is automatically generated during printing. While physical forms can still be purchased from RBI regional offices, this option will be phased out within a year. Banks are instructed to inform their clients about these changes, which are mandated under the Foreign Exchange Management Act, 1999.
