Validity Extended to Three Years.</h1> The circular announces the digitization of the Authorized Economic Operator (AEO) T1 application process through a new web-based platform, aeoindia.gov.in, launched by the Central Board of Indirect Taxes and Customs (CBIC). This online system allows applicants to file AEO T1 applications and enables Customs officials to process and deliver digitized AEO certificates. Manual filing will continue until March 31, 2019, to ensure a smooth transition. The validity of AEO T1 and T2 certificates is extended to three years, aligning with review intervals. The circular encourages widespread use of the online platform and invites feedback on implementation challenges.
