of <h1>SEBI Extends Deadline to March 31, 2017, for ELCs on DB to Submit Listing or Exit Plans.</h1> SEBI issued a circular extending the deadline for Exclusively Listed Companies (ELCs) on the Dissemination Board (DB) of de-recognized or non-operational stock exchanges to submit an action plan for listing or providing an exit for shareholders. Originally set for January 2017, the deadline is now extended to March 31, 2017, following requests for more time. All other conditions from the previous circular dated October 10, 2016, remain unchanged. This directive is issued under the authority of the Securities and Exchange Board of India Act, 1992, aiming to protect investors and regulate the securities market.
