        <h1>SEBI Launches Online Filing for Offers, Schemes, and Buybacks; Mandatory E-Filing Starts April 2018 for Listed Entities.</h1> The Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI) has introduced an online filing system for offer documents, schemes of arrangement, takeovers, and buybacks to streamline operations. From February 1, 2018, to March 31, 2018, entities must file documents both physically and online via the SEBI Intermediary Portal. After April 1, 2018, only online submissions will be accepted. This applies to listed entities, recognized stock exchanges, and registered merchant bankers. The initiative aims to protect investor interests and enhance market regulation. SEBI has advised relevant parties to activate their online accounts and provided contact information for assistance.
