of <h1>SEBI Extends Deadline for Foreign Investment Monitoring Data Submission to May 25; New System Starts June 1 u/s 11(1.</h1> The Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI) has amended its previous circulars regarding the monitoring of foreign investment limits in listed Indian companies. The deadline for companies to submit necessary data to depositories has been extended to May 25, 2018, and the new monitoring system will be operational from June 1, 2018. This amendment is issued under the authority of Section 11(1) of the SEBI Act, 1992. Custodians are instructed to inform their Foreign Portfolio Investor clients about these updates.
