of <h1>India Extends Track and Trace System Deadline for Pharmaceutical Exports to July 1, 2019, Affecting All Manufacturers.</h1> The Government of India's Directorate General of Foreign Trade has extended the implementation date for the Track and Trace system for pharmaceutical exports. This system ensures the maintenance of the Parent-Child relationship in packaging levels and the movement of drug consignments in the supply chain. The deadline for compliance has been moved from November 15, 2018, to July 1, 2019. This extension applies to both small-scale and non-small-scale manufactured drugs. The amendment is made under the Foreign Trade Policy 2015-2020, affecting the relevant sections of the Handbook of Procedure.
