Exporters and customs brokers must follow specific procedures for filing shipping bills and ETP applications. A continuous bond and bank guarantee must be registered, and the transhipper is responsible for the cargo's export. After ETP approval, the cargo is allowed for shipment, and the bond is re-credited upon successful filing of the Export General Manifest (EGM). The ETP approval also facilitates drawback processing.
