From April 1, 2018, all Show Cause Notices and adjudication orders must be issued through DIGIT, ensuring timely issuance. The Board, alongside the Directorate of Revenue Intelligence, will monitor compliance, and any failure to meet deadlines or use DIGIT for these processes will be taken seriously. This directive aims to maintain an up-to-date database for effective enforcement and risk management.
