of <h1>Customs Jurisdictions in Bangalore Zone Reorganized; Mangalore Commissionerate Takes Over Key Districts Post-GST Implementation.</h1> The Customs jurisdictions in the Bangalore Zone have been reorganized following the implementation of GST and the establishment of new GST Commissionerates. Effective January 15, 2018, all Customs work previously managed by Central Tax officers will be transferred to Customs Commissionerates. The Mangalore Customs Commissionerate will oversee Customs activities in several districts, including Uttara Kannada, Udupi, and others. Specific offices within the Mangalore Commissionerate have been designated to handle Customs work in these districts. The relevant officers are instructed to take over files from Central Tax Commissionerates, and the public is advised to note these changes for Customs-related services.
