of <h1>Export Policy Update: Onion Exports Require Letter of Credit and Minimum Export Price of $850 Until Dec 31, 2017.</h1> The circular from the Office of Commissioner of Customs at Jawaharlal Nehru Custom House informs exporters and related parties about the amendment to the export policy of onions. As per Notification No. 39/2015-202, the export of onions is permitted only through a Letter of Credit and subject to a Minimum Export Price of US$ 850 F.O.B. per Metric Ton until December 31, 2017. Any difficulties should be reported to the Deputy or Assistant Commissioner in charge of Appraising Main (Export). This notice serves as a standing order for the relevant officers and staff.
