Initially, it was clarified that these dumpers were not eligible for such benefits. However, the High-Level Committee recommended that dumpers essential for coal mining should qualify for benefits if certified by the Sponsoring Authority. Following this recommendation, the Board revisited the issue and confirmed that dumpers designed for mining activities and used in coal mines are eligible for Project Import benefits, provided they are duly certified. All pending assessments should be finalized accordingly, and any difficulties should be reported to the Board.
