of <h1>Customs Department Launches Online System for Rotation Number Generation via ICEGATE, Easing Process for Shipping Lines.</h1> The Customs Department has introduced an online facility for the generation of 'Rotation Numbers' by shipping lines and agents through ICEGATE, streamlining the existing process. Previously, shipping lines or agents had to apply manually at the Custom House. Now, registered users can generate the Rotation Number online by providing necessary details such as Customs Location Code, IMO Code, Voyage Number, and others, authenticated via a one-time password. This online system also allows users to check the status of Rotation Numbers, with an inquiry option available for casual visitors on the ICEGATE website. Any implementation issues should be reported to the Customs Commissioner.
