of <h1>DGFT Circular: Relaxation for Pre-August 2017 Pigeon Peas Import Contracts; Register by September 7, 2017.</h1> The circular from the Directorate General of Foreign Trade addresses the implementation of Notification No. 19 dated 5th August 2017, concerning the import policy of Pigeon Peas/Toor Dal. It allows registration of import contracts made before 5th August 2017, where advance payments were made, by relaxing certain provisions of the Foreign Trade Policy 2015-2020. Contracts must be registered with the jurisdictional Regional Authorities by 7th September 2017. Applicants must pay an application fee for relaxation in policy/procedure. Registration is contingent upon verification of contract details and payment intent by the bank.
