of <h1>Handbook Amendment: Revised Export Limits for Status Holders in Para 2.84; Increased Annual Free-of-Cost Export Entitlements.</h1> The amendment to Para 2.84 of Chapter 2 of the Handbook of Procedures 2015-2020 revises the entitlement for Status Holders to export freely exportable items on a free-of-cost basis. The annual limit has been increased to Rs. 1 crore or 2% of the average annual export realization over the preceding three licensing years, whichever is lower, excluding gems, jewelry, and precious metals. For pharmaceutical companies, the limit is 2% of the average annual export realization, with up to 8% permitted for supplies to international health programs. These free-of-cost exports are not eligible for Duty Drawback or other export incentives.
