of <h1>Mumbai Customs Eases Cabotage Rules for Foreign Ships, Allows Multiple Port Calls and Domestic Passengers for 10 Years.</h1> The circular issued by the Office of the Principal Commissioner of Customs in Mumbai grants cabotage relaxation to foreign-flagged ships carrying passengers, allowing them to call at multiple Indian ports for ten years. This permits domestic passengers on these ships during their domestic runs. The Central Board of Excise & Customs provides a Green Channel facility for international cruise passengers disembarking for tourism. Customs procedures for international cruise vessels include no escort for domestic legs unless deemed necessary, no customs duty exemption for alcohol consumed in Indian waters, and duty payment for onboard purchases by domestic passengers. International passengers can avail baggage allowances per the Baggage Rules, 2016.
