of <h1>Exporters Face Delays Due to EDI System Errors; Temporary Manual Process Implemented for 60 Days to Verify Exports.</h1> Exporters are experiencing issues with the non-generation of Export Promotion (E.P.) copies of shipping bills from the EDI system due to data entry errors. The Directorate of Systems is working on software updates to address these issues. Meanwhile, for 60 days, exporters must present a photocopy of the exchange control copy of the shipping bill, along with other documents, to the Assistant/Deputy Commissioner of Customs at the docks. The customs officials will verify the export details and certify the photocopy as proof of export. The AR4 form will also be certified and released to the applicant.
