of <h1>Mumbai Customs: Exporters Can Get Shipment Certificates for Missing E.P. Copies from Early EDI System Era.</h1> The customs authority in Mumbai announced that approximately 500 Export Promotion (E.P.) copies of Shipping Bills from the early period of the Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) system are no longer available. To address this issue, exporters or their representatives can obtain 'Shipment Certificates' from the Deputy or Assistant Commissioner (Docks-Export) as a substitute for the E.P. copies. These certificates will be issued with the official's signature and seal within three days of request. The relevant associations are encouraged to utilize this facility.
