The guidelines for preparing the floppy and the required IGM format are provided in Annexure I. Shipping agents are advised to follow these guidelines and seek clarification from customs officers if needed. The EDI Help Desk is available for system-related issues. The IGM message format includes vessel, cargo, and container details, with specific instructions for file naming and message types. Amendments and supplementary messages can be submitted in a single file.
