India Updates Export Customs Rules for Cargo to Bangladesh, Nepal via Specific Land Customs Stations.
The customs procedure for exporting container cargo from Inland Container Depots (ICDs) and Container Freight Stations (CFSs) in India to Bangladesh and Nepal has been updated. The new guidelines specify that the movement of export cargo to these countries is permitted through Land Customs Stations (LCSs) at Petrapole and Gede on the Indo-Bangladesh border, and Raxaul and Nantanwa (Sonauli) on the Indo-Nepal border. Trade associations, chambers of commerce, and other relevant parties are requested to inform their members of these changes.
