of <h1>Customs Implements Online Processing for SEIS Scrips; Electronic Transmission Begins October 10, 2016, Eliminating Manual Entry.</h1> The circular from the Office of the Principal Commissioner of Customs at Jawaharlal Nehru Custom House announces the implementation of online transmission and processing of Service Export from India Scheme (SEIS) scrips. Effective from October 10, 2016, these scrips will be transmitted electronically from the Directorate General of Foreign Trade (DGFT) to Customs, eliminating the need for manual data entry at ports. Exporters and Customs Brokers must verify scrips at the port of registration for all-India use. Any manual debits prior to this integration must be recorded, and issues should be reported to the System Manager.
