The amendment involves the removal of the requirement for a Chartered Engineers Certificate for each export consignment under the Advance Licence/DEEC Scheme, addressing exporters' concerns about time and cost. Instead, sealed samples may be tested when necessary, and recognized exporters' in-house test reports will be accepted. All other conditions from the previous notices remain unchanged.
