This notice adds to a previous notice from 2009, specifying that only remnant samples sufficient for re-testing will be handed over by the customs laboratory to the Central Sample Cell officer. These remnant samples will be retained in the Central Sample Cell until they are disposed of according to the guidelines outlined in the earlier public notice.
