<h1>Air India Appointed as Custodian for Imported Goods Transshipment Across India Until March 2014; Bond Valid Until 2019.</h1> M/s. Air India Ltd., previously known as M/s. National Aviation Company of India Ltd. (NACIL), has been approved as the Custodian of imported goods for transshipment to various airports in India. This approval, granted by the Commissioner of Customs (Export) at the Air Cargo Complex in Mumbai, is valid until March 31, 2014. The transshipment operations will adhere to the Customs Act, 1962, and related regulations and notices. Air India has submitted a transshipment bond of Rs. 750 crores, valid until January 15, 2019, to support their request for renewal of custodianship.
